An exciting opportunity has arisen within our well established company.

We are an expanding North East agency looking for a creative Web Designer to join our highly skilled web team.

The right candidate will need to be a team player and have strong Photoshop as well as traditional web design skills. Ideally they will have a graphic design background, as the candidate will be a key player in the web team, creating interface designs and layouts and delivering innovative design solutions for promotional online material (emails, newsletters).

They will have a strong web design portfolio or examples with a proven track record of producing exciting and innovative websites and a thorough understanding of the importance of web usability and accessibility standards. SEO understanding would also be advantageous.

The ideal candidate will have 2 to 3 years commercial experience and a skill set including HTML, CSS and FLASH would be favourable. This role mainly involves front end design, however sometimes the implementation of the designs into working web pages might be necessary. Finally the candidate will be confident working to deadlines.

NEW POSITION: Creative Mac Artworker : posted 01/11/07

currently seeking a Creative Mac Artworker.

This position will involve creating files to a production standard on the Mac, using a variety of programmes. The role will be creating artworks in either Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign or scanning in the original artworks and colour retouching these to a specific standard.

The main role will also involve designing artwork for finishes, which could be a variety of foils, flitter, type setting and die cutting forms. Also, other aspects of the job include creating packaging, point of sale and giftware.

The position would be suited to someone who has an artistic background with attention to detail and likes working as part of a team. A basic knowledge of all the usual applications will be required, however full training will be given.
