Four weeks in lockdown might have felt like an eternity to some, but in website terms, it was a pretty tight schedule to deliver a brand-new site right from scratch. However, The Consultancy did exactly that for ODL Europe with a new website which went live in plenty of time before the industry started heading back to work.

Created in conjunction with ODL’s marketing partner Team 4 Marketing, is a powerful new focal point for the door specialist’s digital marketing activity. Team 4 Marketing had already created the copy and designed a sitemap when they approached us, and we added our design flair, technical expertise and market experience to bring that plan to life.

The new website is simple and intuitive to navigate, and we’ve obviously made sure it works just as seamlessly on mobiles and tablets as it does on desktops.

The aim of the website was to bring all of ODL Europe’s products under one roof and to define the company’s offering more clearly into door slabs, decorative glass, glazing cassettes and integral blinds. We achieved that with a WordPress site which successfully uses ODL’s corporate colours as part of the product definition. As you would expect, the website also includes user-friendly online ordering and download functions for customers.

Nathan Barr, ODL’s Managing Director, said the whole business is pleased with the result: “The new website fits the brief perfectly. It reflects the size and scale of the ODL Group operation and delivers something which is already generating significantly more sales leads than the old site.”
